Avoiding excess weights, exhaustive training and reducing the amount of body strain can help you avoid a hernia and keep existing hernia condition from getting worse.

  2. Restraining from tobacco consumption.

  3. Maintaining a healthy body weight.

  4. Avoiding straining during bowel movements or urination.
